Sunday’s Coming

Sunday’s Coming

Dear Friends,

Sunday’s service, Advent 2, is looking at the theme of Judgement. Modern Christians tend not to refer to God as a judge much, but there is so much talk of it in the Bible so cannot be shyed away from. This week’s hymns include Graham Kendrick’s O Lord, the clouds are gathering, Noel Richards’ Great is the darkness, a rousing rendition of O God of earth and altar, and Colours of Day, amongst others.

Once again, this service contains several meditations by Nick Fawcett, has been coordinated by Andy Brauston and Lesley Thomson.

The service will be sent out, as normal, at 9.45 on Sunday morning for a 10am start.  If you have any problems receiving it please read on for advice.

with every blessing,

Dan Morrell

If you have a problem…

Sometimes the Daily Devotions emails go astray.  As we send out over 4,000 a day some internet service providers label them as Spam or Junk.  If an email doesn’t arrive check your Spam/Junk Folder in the first instance.  If the email is there then add this email address to your contacts and, if you have one, a Safe Senders’ List.  If you google your email programme and the words “safe senders list” you should find out how to do it.

If, however, the email isn’t in your Spam/Junk folder please go to and read it there.

Finally, a reminder if you need to change your email address please use the link, below, “update your preferences”.
