I hope you continue to find the Daily Devotions a useful resource in your every day journey of discipleship.
As you know we have just returned to Mark’s account of the Passion having looked at some hymns used at this time of the year. Next week we will look at a range of Eastertide hymns and then we will look at Paul’s views on resurrection as articulated in 1 Corinthians. In May we will work through the Epistle of James and then we will look at 1 and 2 Timothy until Pentecost.
I am often asked for information to put in church magazines in order to encourage people to sign up for the devotions. I am grateful to the Rev’d Fiona Bennett, from Augustine United Church in central Edinburgh, who has designed a poster to promote the Devotions. It can be downloaded and printed for your noticeboards, or turned into flyers to be given out in church. The poster, or the text, could be inserted into a magazine. You can download it by clicking here.
I hope that, as we journey through Holy Week together, you find time to reflect on how God turns injustice, terror, pain and grief into joy, wonder, hope, and new life.
with every good wish

If today’s Daily Devotion is not showing on your church’s website, this will have affected all church websites using this feed in the same way. Our volunteer technical team are probably aware of the issue and will be working to fix it as soon as they are able. Thank you.
